Careless Whisper" is a 1984 single by George Michael (credited to Wham! featuring George Michael in the USA), released by Epic Records in the UK, Japan, and other countries; and byColumbia Records in North America. The song was George Michael's first solo single although he was still performing in Wham! at the time (the song is included on Wham!'s album Make it Big). The song features a prominent saxophone riff, and has been covered by a number of artists since its first release. It was released as a single and became a huge commercial success on both sides of the Atlantic. It reached number one in nearly 25 countries, selling about six million copies worldwide.

Unlike all the Wham! singles (except "Wham Rap!"), it was co-written by Andrew Ridgeley, the other member of the duo. The two had written it together as unknowns three years earlier, when Michael was working as a cinema usher in Watford, England. In a June 2006 interview on Londonradio station Magic 105.4, Michael said that he wrote it "in his head" during work and that he recalls coming up with the saxophone riff whilst boarding a number 32 bus on the way home. Originally the riff had words, but Michael declined to state them, saying that they were very poor lyrics.

The song went through at least two rounds of production. The first was during a trip Michael made to Muscle Shoals, Alabama, where he went to work with the legendary producer Jerry Wexler at the venerable Muscle Shoals Studio. Michael was unhappy with the version that was originally produced and decided to re-record and produce the song himself, this time coming up with the version that was finally released. The version Wexler produced did, however, see the light of day, but only later on, as a (4:41) B-side "Special Version" on 12", released in England.

The officially released single, a mid-tempo ballad with soulful production and a remarkable saxophone solo by Steve Gregory, was issued in August 1984, entering the UK singles chart at number twelve. Within two weeks, it was at number one, ending a nine-week run at the top for "Two Tribes" by Frankie Goes to Hollywood. It stayed at number one for three weeks, going on to become the fifth best-selling single of 1984 in the United Kingdom; it was outsold only by the two Frankie Goes to Hollywood tracks "Two Tribes" and "Relax," Stevie Wonder with "I Just Called to Say I Love You" and Band Aid with "Do They Know It's Christmas." The song also topped the charts in 17 other countries, including the Billboard Hot 100 in the United States in February 1985 under the credit "Wham! featuring George Michael"; spending three weeks at the top in America, the song was later named Billboard's number-one song of 1985.

George Michael's songs, he used dancing as a metaphor for a relationship. A "careless whisper" could be gossip, or could be a betrayed confidence, or even a metaphor for a bigger kind of betrayal. So I'd say that he's singing about realizing that he has carelessly betrayed a lover, and now he's seeing how badly he's hurt someone he cares about. He's at the point where he realizes that he's destroyed something that matters, and there's not a thing he can do to make it better.

To me it is about the meaning of friendship and how one does not appreciate what they have and screws up so badly that the other is gone out of their life forever. Now the person that screwed up is regretting their actions and missing the friendship they once had and wishes to get it back.

Best Weekend !!!

Waa I have been busy starting this week, so tired after get back from The Participants Development Programme. The programme is held at the ASTANA AGROTEK, HULU LANGAT. On the first (19 FEBRUARY) day we have a ice breaking session with our own trademark move. And we are being form into the small which have 8 group contains 9-10 group members. Than our Creativity session which each group have to come out with their own name, slogan, shout! And flag to show the identity of the group. And my group come out with name “2gether” , and our slogan is “harapkan pagar ,pagar makan padi,harapkan kami,kami menjadi”. And for our shout is “kami tak hot ,kami tak cool,kami freshie”. At the night session we have a Tower building activity, which one group have to divide into two team, the first team is the designer and the architect and the other one are the contractor and the engineer. After the session we have been explain about the synchronize walk & sound, we be given time to training and on the next morning each group have to show their formation.

On our second day (20 FERUARY) we start our activity with the synchronize walk & sound follows by obstacle challenges that we have to climb up the hill, and etc. After the activity we enjoying the cool river water in the middle of the resort, the water is so refreshing us. After lunch we have a talk about Numerology that you can calculate your attitude or what type of people are you, its quite interesting. After the solat asar we have a trust game, where we have to be in couple and one of us have to be the blindfold and the other one will be the leader, in this activity its make me appreciate and thankful to Allah that ONE who give us the good eye to see the world, and beside that the game also teach me on “trust” to our friend and the leadership spirit (to who lead the WAY FOR THE BLIND). On the nights, around 70 of us go for the night walk in the jungle near to the resort. This is my first experience even it is quite difficult for me but it is so excited, almost about 2 hour we in the jungle. At 1.30 am in the morning we get back to our room and sleep.

On the 21st FEBRUARY, We have morning exercise and Flying Fox, the flying fox is the 1st longest in State of Selangor. After breakfast we have the closure session, which we have to wrote a letter about our goal and mission in the future and it will be return to us after we have graduate at the business school, and the second task is we have to point out any positive characteristic of our group members. And after the lunch we have ended our programme.

It is the memorable weekend for me , instead have a new friend , new experience , teamwork overall the programme is successful and achieve their objective which is to create awareness of one’s potential, utilize one’s potential to the fullest, to develop interpersonal skill an last but not least is to develop a positive attitude towards learning.

OUT for PDP Programme, it will be held for three day...

Holiday mood now have to be ended.From yesterday I'm alreaday at my hostel bcoz today I'll go to the PDP ,Participant Development Programme organize by HURES (Human Resource Society) for BM223 - Bachelor of Business Administration (Hons) Human Resource Management,Faculty of Business Management, UiTM Shah Alam. The programme will be held for 3 day and 2 night.Hope i'll experience on new thing from there. The PDP is about a programme to: planning for our study and beside that focused on building effective team spirit understand that everybody is need each other, one for all and al for one and improve motivation and personal performance as a student.

Out for three days for PDP programme. Will be back on sunday ,NO Blogging, No facebooking and No Mafia Wars! Argh! Back to the nature and it will be all green...GO GREEN! Hope its will be great! yeay! see you again ...

How was it, Great rite? Its makes me more understand about “blog” just wanna share it with you. Huhu the video was upload two years ago how out-dated am I? Like frog underneath coconut shell .Well at least I know it in the simple way. Yaah video is more interesting compare to read a text. Our Story ...

For me I’m think that I’m in love from the first sight, so this is our story (short version) full version is in our minds...

on October 2008 in the way back from Kelantan to Kuala Lumpur by train. I with my friend 8 boys and about 4 girl, and I meet this girl, and from the first impression she is quite Cool , she is talkative and friendly . But if you never met her before you may be misjudge her, like people always said don’t judge the book by its cover.

It’s totally different from my first judgement towards her. In the train, we have chat at the canteen just about an hour . When arrives Kuala Lumpur, I’m still don’t get her phone number.

Than after 4 month, on the end of February 2009 at the FESKO (Festival Kolej UiTM KELANTAN) i met her again at her society stall, which sells sausage and etc. I place my order to her for a sausage, but she never remembers me, I feel a little bit upset with what happen. During the closing session I try to talk with her and FINALLY I got her number. In the same night I’m text her, and I’m get a good respond.

On the March of 2009, we now already be a friend, everyday in the morning I will wish her good day and at the night I will wish her sweet dream. Majority all my friend give me full support to tackle her and some think that I’m just want to be flirting and dumb her. There are many things happen and we still be a friend.

On the 3 of April, it is her birthday and we celebrate it with my friend. A month we get close and know about each other, during the final exam we study together in the library and some conflict arrive when I ask her to be together. Its hard to her to accept me because there is about 2 month we just know and so many thing that we didn’t know for example about our family background, our past relationship and so on.

On the 8 of May I propose to her to be my girlfriend and on that time she accept me as her boyfriend. So now is about our 9^th month anniversary. Her name is NADIA BORHAN. I LOVE YOU NADIA BORHAN . ILYFDM! I have found my soulmate and I will never want to loss you.I’m lucky to have you in my life. We still have time to know each other in detail. To all of you (my friends) pray for our happiness and blessing from ALLAH SWT, AMIN...
